I made Dean's List

yoooo
I made Dean's list on my last semester out.
I think that one of my teachers just didn't grade/check anything and gave an automatic a. I dont carrreeeee , it makes me look goodd...
Today I am going to try to go to work. I wish people understood that THE BEST KIND of present is some preloved object you can't find anywhere else. I certainly understood that at a young age.
No show on my blythe dolly :( but we had a MASSIVE SNOWSTORM here so our mail is fucked.
I am knitting like a machine and hopefully will AB's gift done so I can send it w/the rest of her things before I peace to Mexico. Yeah, I'm going to Mexico w/Betsy, O, and C. Be jealous, promise I won't pull a Spedi Patron(sp?) infused wedding. Are they creepy or what? I can't decide who I'm most fearful of. I think I'm gonnna go w. Spencer, he can BRAINWASH....
Photobucket

ewwww I regret having him on my BLOG!!! TONIGHT'S THE FINALE, who's gonna watch? I think that WHITNEY's man looks like JUSTIN BOBBY

Anyway, here's a dated outfit from my stash, worn pre-snowfall, pre-haircut

Has it REALLY been this long?!

Photobucket

Okay, whoever is reading this blog, I would like you to know that for the past 2 months it has been BEWITCHED, by the the chemical most commonly found in puffer fish (aka, the Tetraodontidae)which inhibited the RESPIRATORY system of the blog...err marshmallow? and thus turned it into a ZOMBIE blog for two and 1/2 months...

Photobucket

I am sorry, but PinkMarshmallow girl IS BACK!!

Here's what I love (What I've been lovin' since I was poisoned...):

1. Jonah Takalua from Summer Heights High...I'd totally bring him to the Year 11 Formal...

The dude, Chris Lilley, plays three different characters so damn well. They all crack me up. He plays Jonah, the year 8 breakdancer who loves to tell people to "fuck off"( you would never know it's a thirty-four year-old man!), and also he plays a private-school girl transfer, J'amie who is such a little bitch with her tantrums, and finally, he's Mr. G, the over-zealous drama director who is staging a school play about a student who recently OD'd. I really wish all three characaters could meet, like I really want Jonah to be in one of Mr. G's plays...hey, they did it for The Parent Trap!
2. Gossip Girl
Hello??!! I THINK LAST EPISODE WAS THE BEST EVER!!!!!!!! And I am enjoying Jenny's transition from darling little sis into Scene-trashed coke feen (like that episode when she went out and ended up on cobrasnake...). Now if I could only see more of Mr. Bass (not the late...) I have been a bit VEXED with the clothing...suddenly its become very predictable...

Photobucket

3. Knitting.

Photobucket

Yeah, I haven't really KNIT since thanksgiving, because I got a bad head cold and became a schoolwork-slut. There's a waiting list right now, but if anyone's down for a custom, hit me up and you'll have it by Feb.
Photobucket
these are both SOLD!!!!!

4. Springtime in wintertime Lately, my outfits have inspired comments about my spring-like appearance on bitter cold November/December days. Usually I am going for Soviet-Trash-Ice-Bitch Ballerina in a shredded pink tutu-like skirt which also features an urban landscape (suppose you'd need to see this one to get it...) over fishnets over other tights...the outfit here is of that old Adrienne Vitaldi dress of my elder sisters worn often this summer...

5. Blythe
It's like Hello Kitty all over again...I'm obsessed with Neo Blythe Dolls. They have crazy ass eyes that change colors when you pull the string...People customize them, build them houses, make clothing for them, they're expensive, adorable, and additive.
I can't afford a 12-inch Neo Blythe right now (the girl I really want is $399 on eBay!), but I did help myself to a Petite Blythe, which was $28 including shipping from Hong Kong (Gardens!!). I got Petite Blythe Night Flower, she's so cute but only 4inches tall! I want to name her Prudence, and I am anxiously awaiting her arrival. I plan on making her a bonnet, etc. I ordered her a little xmas outfit (hopefully she comes in time to wear it!) and a black and white striped hooded sweatsuit so she can be a little jailbird, both from pungsnotded. I also kinda wanna build her a little dollhouse...I am regressing people, we're in a recession and I'm nearly 22 yrs old and buying Japanese Dolls...

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket
The expensive Velvet Minute one that I LUVVV!! Maybe Billy will get her for me ;)

Photobucket
My petite Blythe whose arrival I await with bated breath!! I was worried she would be uncomfortable with now where to sleep until her house is built, so I bought her this tiny sleeping bag.
At target, I'm not kidding.

6. Bobbed Hair
Ok, those pictures in number 4 are old like your socks, and now I've got bobbed hair....I'm digging it a lot, its easier to take care of, and I can still stick doodads in!

7. Having a Messy-ass Room
I've had papers to write, exams to take, so shits been a mess...

Maybe I'll clean it before XMAS...

Well, I'm fatigued, It's blizzarded out and I wanna crawl into bed, under my electrical blankie...and read my Jhumpa Lahiri book....

FEELLS GOOD TO BE BACK

XOXO, you know you love me...(;))

JUST FINISHING UP...

ALMOST DONE w/MY LAST PAPER AND I WILL BE BACK WITH A BEVY OF BONNETS AND FASHION!!!!!!!!!

15 October 2008

Thrifts!!

Hello!
I am on my way to class, but this past weekend I went shopping and was able to get some terrific things at Saver's! I found my new favorite polyester dress!!! And a brooch to put on my bonnets, plus some snazzy pieces for a song at the Art Festival, like bags of clip-on earrings that I can also use for hats! I am busy with midterms, knitting custom hats for my fellow employees, and work!

An entirely thrifted outfit (save fore the hairclip, which I got at Claire's)

Photobucket

The shoes and the bag I got at work, and the dress was like $7 at Saver's!!!

Photobucket

I wish I could have kept these lovelies, but they didn't fit, so I'm selling them!

Photobucket

Photobucket

My never-been used, American Tourister grape-colored makeup case that has a pretty floral lining and it came with keys so I can lock it up! $15 at Saver's!!! I also got the pretty frame to use near my bonnets at work!

The Revolutionary Costume for Today!

So I got bored and I have also been watching too much Grey Gardens. That's why I decided to wear my pencil skirt as a dress. With lacey tights. And crazy Donna Karen F/w rtw 08 hair. People stared, I wore it to class, the mall, and luncheon with Billy. I think everyone thinks I am insane....

I have been knitting away at my bonnets lately, and I am selling three at work! I am however, concerned that no one who isn't me would wear these pieces. I took pictures of two of them before bringing them in! If anyone is interested in a custom-knit bonnet, you can e-mail me at pinkmarshmallowgirl@gmail.com and we'll talk!

The Last Time I will style my hair into a bouffant

...Until January 20th, when Obama is in the white house and that crazy (doggone)woman disappears...
I was really digging the crazy beehive look all last week. I thought I was channeling Amy Winehouse (Expect I stuffed mine with hair, not heroin). Apparently, I looked like a Sara Palin- wannabe as three people informed me. I think I'd rather borrow one of her guns and shoot myself. School has been busy, I finished my Grey Gardens paper but I am quite frantic about other subjects! I am sad that this bitch does her hair like me, but come January, I should be all set. I think she stuffs her hair with coon skins.

Photobucket

A kind of cute beehive

Photobucket

A bloody nightmare. Yes, that is a fake picture, but its still as funny as Tina Fey on SNL.

Photobucket

My version: Tragic, isn't it? I think it suits me. Damn the crazed governor!!

Guess I could be her for Halloween...I'd carry a fake rifle...I think I'd skip the Bikini...

29 September 2008

"What we have here is a Dreamer...someone who is completely out of touch with reality..."

I am a very annoying blogger, I have grammatical errors, and just seem like an annoying person. I promise I'm not really as annoying as I seem on the blog. I am eccentric. I am to a degree uninhibited. Many people think I am weird. I am really OK with this. I enjoy making people think I am weird, it adds intrigue. Like for example, making an odd observation, on the fly about something absurd and obscure. I am also socially awkward because I lost all my best girlfriends (almost all, AM has stuck with me!) to boyfriends. If you people (whoever reads this besides my Dad) understand that I live in my own little pink marshmallow universe where spelling and punctuation don't count and you can like Joy Division and Leftover Crack with out being called a poser and white gloves may be worn...its ok to sleep in false eyelashes and even more acceptable to wear the same ones twice...

I think on that note, this should be a beauty post. Not like you are really going to go out and buy the same shit that I wear, but...

1. Face
Photobucket

Angels on Bare Skin Face stuff. This is some good shit, its all grainy...

Photobucket

Then I spray this Teatree Toner on my face. These are both from lush

Photobucket

Next, if I have any zits, or crap like that I use the Physician's Formula blemish Rx because it works and it gives coverage. It has medicine in it. I broke out a bunch this summer and stopped drinking dark soda and that has helped. I also used to use Bare Essentials mineral powder but that shit made such a damn mess and I think it also made me break out.

2. Makeup!!("Jewelry!")
Photobucket

Guerlain Terra Cotta Bronzer

Photobucket

Nars Multiple in Palm Beach

Photobucket

M.A.C Powder Blush in Dollymix (isn't that just a splendid name?)

Usually I'm all pale, so I layer all three. I don't use the bronzer as heavily in winter though.

Photobucket

Then I put this shimmery white on...(my eyelids...)Its just Ulta brand.

Photobucket

But sometimes I put this Rimmel Smokey Eyeshadow stuff on to mix it up...

Photobucket

Photobucket

Then I put some liquid black eyeliner on, usually in a little wing or an arch or sometimes just straight out and exaggerated. I need some better liquid eyeliner though. The top one, the Prestige High Def, turns GRAY after a while, and the NYC one isn't that bad (for $1.99!), but it has a brush and not a felt tip, which can really screw things up! I would like to find the perfect EXPENSIVE black liquid eyeliner...any suggestions? I use it like everyday...

Photobucket
Yaayyy for mascara!! If I were on a desert island...I'd bring MASCARA!!! (and lippy) See, I have this theory, you know how some hairstylists tell you to SWITCH shampoos frequently? Well, I like to SWITCH my mascaras for better results! I alternate them!! Sometimes I go nuts and just layer them all, I like the spidery eye look! I never leave the house without it, and I love trying all the new drugstore brands because they are so cheap and its like instant gratification! The first one is Glam Eyes by Rimmel, the second one is also Rimmel, its called Lycra (like the stuff they put in yo' jeans to make'em streeecchh) Lash Extender, The third is CoverGirl Lash Blast, and the final (which I think they copied Covergirl with that packaging...) is Maybelline The Colossal Volume Express!!! I don't know which is the best!!

Photobucket

I really want to "splurge" and try some of this Fiberwig mascara that wraps little tubes around your lashes to make them seem longer...its from Japan, so HEY!

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Yes, so I also like to wear fake lashes. Any occasion is good, like if someone was mean to me and I want to devastate them with my lusty lashes...or I could just be going to school/work... I use MAC, Ardelle, whatever. I usually buy really dramatic ones (I get really excited in the store...) that are usually reserved for Drag Queens, but I trim them up nice! I always use the Duo Surgical Adhesive stuff they have at the MAC counter. It's the best stuff. If you hold the lash with the roots facing you in a tweezer, you can put a thin line of glue around it, but wait a few seconds so it isn't too goopy. I can do this in my sleep, but it takes practice...

Photobucket
Dior Rouge in Celebrity Red is my fav! They didn't have a picture though. I am also into miscellaneous Berry/Wine shades for fall.

Photobucket

This is what I use on dirty hair, right before I tease it. It smells like an old lady, but in a good way, like laundry! Pssssst!!
Photobucket
Finally, a spritz or two (or three...) of Aquolina Pink Sugar! It smells like Cotton Candy and I've worn it forever! Its like our generation of Love's Baby Soft expect the tough girls wear it!
