A brief departure

Here's a brief departure from Sweaters: A Lousy leopard Madonna-like tough-chic look that inspired Billy to let me know I looked like "an expensive prostitute". He sometimes looks like a cheap garbage man.
I'm sick of winter.
I think it is exhaauussting.

This is kind of the idea. Except I feel fat, so I guess I'm more Ricki Lake, although in this movie she is pregnant and has like 2 other kids. I don't even have that excuse, mine is more like "Oh, those Cadberry Egg minis are two for a dollar at CVS...".

I Wouldn't Lie

To anyone, but just so you know, I wear wild sweaters nearly everyday but this mauve housewife one from Saver's is taking a little, uhh, work. It has a heart and bows embroidered on it. DEAD CENTER! I feel like wearing it with something tough, so no one tries to ship me out on the elderly bus to the bowling alley (which would actually be terrible fun, but I'm holed up in the house half-ass sick watching Godfather I & II). I think this outfit was a flop, and Billy felt the same but was gracious enough to keep his two-cents to himself. We took these photos in a park where Billy used my SLR to take pictures for his photography course, which he copied me by taking. That was my thing.Just KIDDIN' (partially) It was frigid out and I was about to eat a hot dog.

I'm not commenting on fashion week right now. We'll see if I do.
Oh, and as for the Oscars? The Visitor with Richard Jenkins was amazing, but so was Slumdog Millionaire. See the Visitor if you like Slumdog. I felt like I was ninety-eight years old after Benjamin Button. One more thing... "Domo Arrigato,Mister Roboto!" Can't wait to see his short!

Post Valentine Bliss

Lately, I have been wearing insane sweaters, and the other night, I debuted my "punk" vest with my wild pink tulle skirt for Valentine's day. I was going to take photos, but alas, I left my camera with dearest Billy. There have been other outfits I've yearned to photograph as well. I am trying to clean and organize my crafts and other crap inside my room. I have also been making some silly barrettes to sell at work and possibly on Etsy. Lila has been taking sewing classes with me, which has been awesome, but I get very anxious in the room because its really hot in there and I have trouble THREADING the needle.
Also, I am happy to say that my favorite Saver's has re-opened, improved, and neater! I spent fifteen dollars and bought PRISTINE heeled white EASTER T-straps (which I've been wearing now, screw the Memorial Day rule because with navy tights they are a WINNING COMBO), wild color-blocked 80's heels to brighten the soberest of black outfits, and ANOTHER CRAZY sweater!!! This one is Perry Ellis sportswear with an image of a giant purple flower woven into it with the words "CROCUS" also giant and purple at the hem. In 1994, Candace Cameron must have coveted this garment.

It has been a while since I've updated...but WACK SWEATER WEEK CONTINUES.
