Legally Blonde in Cotton Candy Dreams!!

I am sitting in some sort of hello kitty terry cloth dress while we experience a MONSOON here! Last weekend though, was perfect, and I am posting the dreamy Betsy Johnson 50's prom-dress esque dress I wore to the Smashing Legally Blonde the Musical Premier. People stared and gawked, but I was unfazed.

It was part Hairspray...

Plaid And Leopard

D&G ran a pre-fall ad campaign that I can't find online (naturally) in which the models in plaid accessorized with leopard accessories like belts and pumps. I tried it out the other day work and school...I was super-cranky and stressed...

Summer Is Quickly Escaping Me...

I feel very irregular with posting lately! I have been busy reading the vampire books, soaking up the fragments of summer at the beach, working, and spending time with Lila and Billy (separately,of course!). I am gearing up for a long-awaited visit from Betsy with Baby O, which I am very excited about! Baby O and I have lots of singing, walks, and cuddling to catch up on! Next week, I start school, which I am excited about, its my last semester!!!! I will hopefully stay on top of this project, and since I like to dress up everyday for school, it shouldn't be that hard. I am bummed that its starting to get darker earlier, and that the temperature is dropping. I don't mind fall though, its the freezing winters I hate, and all that damn snow! Today I scored a blue Gucci wallet at work for dirt cheap. It's not brand-new, but I like my things a touch worn anyways, it adds character! Yesterday Billy and I ate awful Chinese food for dinner, and then we rented Polanski's Chinatown from the library, which is one of my favorites. I am always inspired by Faye Dunaway's precision makeup, her delicate curls, and her array of unique hats!

I especially love that hat!

My Plaid Summer Saver...
I am digging plaid over white, and lace-up oxfords to go with everything! I found these guys at Savers, and I really love the pointed toes...

Turning 30!!!

This is the 30th post!! Go pink marshmallow girl!!! That is one thing to be glad about...also, from work the other day, I scored the delicate cream Givenchy bag for like 29 dollars! Other than that, things have been dismal. No one has been in a good mood and Billy has a cold. I really would like it to be fall so I can wear tights! The other day it rained, so I wore some to work! I am so grateful I can go to work and be around clothes for a few hours. These past few days, I have been getting migraines at work which is not cool, because I want to be enjoying myself, being productive, and learning as much as possible. I swear though, my head is like a barometer, and any change in the weather/pressure can send me reeling... today I have off and am dressed down in my leotard! I'll take some photos later. I am reading, eating ice cream, knitting, chilling with my mom, etc. I am trying not to buy any summer-y things lately, I'm totally fall-forward. Looking at the Harper's Bazaar Runway report and cutting out pics for my inspiration board is also on my list today.

Are you anxious for cooler weather clothes or loving your breezy summer looks?

Here I am, ready for Fall!
