The Revolutionary Costume for Today!

So I got bored and I have also been watching too much Grey Gardens. That's why I decided to wear my pencil skirt as a dress. With lacey tights. And crazy Donna Karen F/w rtw 08 hair. People stared, I wore it to class, the mall, and luncheon with Billy. I think everyone thinks I am insane....

Legally Blonde in Cotton Candy Dreams!!

I am sitting in some sort of hello kitty terry cloth dress while we experience a MONSOON here! Last weekend though, was perfect, and I am posting the dreamy Betsy Johnson 50's prom-dress esque dress I wore to the Smashing Legally Blonde the Musical Premier. People stared and gawked, but I was unfazed.

I have been very bird-brained lately, often accesorizing with my feather clips!
I have also been working a lot ( I picked up a cream vintage Givenchy Bag at work recently), taking trips to the library with Lila to get Astrology books, and I have also become addicted to Stephanie Meyer's Twilight series. The writing isn't especially unique, but the story is very imaginative! I am kind of in love with Edward Cullen, and I have always been a "sucker" for vampire dramas...Billy and I have been shopping and just chilling lately, and we had a great time at The Gaslight Anthem CD release party last night! They are a great band; we all feel like they are on the verge of become very famous! Their lyrics speak of vintage themes, about women with names like "Virgina" and "Maria". I also love the thunderous guitars and the singer's forcefull, scratchy voice! I highly recommend them as a retro James Dean/ Johnny Depp in Cry Baby tough-guy 50's band with romance...

Vintage Yellow Laura Ashley Dress, revisited!

Circa my first Communion,
1994?, with three older sisters, Li the one on the right is wearing the yellow Laura Ashley dress rejuvenated for this post. Over the course of this blog, I will be selecting simple old castoffs to revive, some of my own, some of those women pictured above.

I belted the dress with a gray pleather bow belt from Nordstrom, Brass Plum and wore pearl accessories.

It looked good with a simple white feather hair piece which I crafted myself. Sunglasses, Nordstrom, bracelet, Forever 21, leather ring with peace sign, vintage.

Shoes, EIGHTEEN DOLLARS at forever 21, they are just perfect dainty little t-straps, they remind me of Chloe and I love them.
